India Palace sits just off the Strip on E Twain Ave, offering a relaxed spot for anyone looking to dive into Indian cuisine a bit away from the usual tourist bustle. It’s a full-service restaurant with a mix of North Indian and vegetarian options that balance traditional flavors with a slightly tempered heat level, which tends to appeal to both seasoned Indian food lovers and those newer to the cuisine.

The atmosphere is straightforward and family-friendly, making it a good pick for groups or casual dinners where comfort and consistency matter more than flashy presentation. Service is generally efficient and responsive, especially noticeable when visiting with a larger group, although it can feel a bit transactional at times.

One of the stronger suits here is the broad menu: many dishes showcase the region’s classics like Butter Chicken, Chicken Biryani, and vegetarian staples such as Paneer Pakora and Chili Paneer. The biryani and tandoori items come through hot and fresh, suited for people who appreciate genuine Indian spice profiles without being overwhelmed by heat. For vegetarians, options like Matar Paneer, Bhindi Masala, and Vegetable Biryani provide satisfying variety.

A visit here works best when you’re in the mood for a relaxed meal rather than an upscale occasion. It’s a spot where you can bring family or friends to share plates, try some traditional chutneys alongside the main dishes, and enjoy desserts like Gulab Jamun to finish. Lunch or dinner times see steady local foot traffic, and the kitchen tends to move the food out quickly, making it suitable even for those who aren’t looking to linger for hours.

While not heavily focused on punchy spice, India Palace does keep a balanced flavor profile, highlighted in dishes like vindaloo and fish curry that lean more mild compared to some more fiery competitors. Drink options like a plain sweet lassi and spiced chai round out the experience with familiar Indian beverage staples.

Overall, people who enjoy a familiar Indian restaurant atmosphere with a menu that appeals to both vegetarians and omnivores will find India Palace a solid choice. It’s especially handy for families or groups seeking a dependable, authentic-feeling meal in an approachable setting just outside the main Las Vegas tourist stretch.

We came in with a group of around ten people and the service was pretty quick! Food came out quick and was all hot and fresh. We had some mixup but were able to get it fixed quickly. Overall, this was a nice a stop during over Vegas trip!

Edit: i had to comeback to say the vindaloo i took home was the very best. So many places cover up the lack flavor by using heat, but not this place. The curry leaves were whole and fresh, not dried. Incredible. Plain sweet lassi is outstanding! The tandoori, delicious! Had tikka masala and butter chicken too. So good. Don’t sleep on the dosa tho. This place is very understated and should be rated higher. Also ordered, the vindaloo chicken (to eat at home later).

Came here after 6 years and while the service and ambiance is still great, I felt the food taste was not as authentic as it was 6 years ago. Please note that I am referring to Authentic Indian Spicy food, its still pretty good for Americanize Indian. Do try.!

Great food and great service! We had the chicken madras and chicken vindaloo - both were super tasty. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. Would definitely come back!

Food was generally good, although it took a while for the flavors to kick in. The spice levels for the butter chicken (ordered spicy and medium) were definitely lower than what we typically get from Indian restaurants. The Goa fish curry (ordered medium spicy) was mild at best. Prices were also a little high compared to portion size. The service was efficient but transactional with very little engagement. Overall it was a good dinner, and this may be what Indian food is like in Vegas.

The absolute best Indian food I've ever had to date my friend who lived in Vegas for 15 years recommended this place and it was WORTH IT. I nearly got emotional for how amazing the tandoori chicken wings were; if you get them, please try the chicken with both tamarind & mint sauce

My partner and I shared a delicious meal of the Mix Grill Tandoori, Achari Chicken, and Garlic Naan! To drink we had a Masala Soda and Mango Lassi which was such a great pairing with our meal. Our server Roliett was kind and attentive ensuring we had a great dining experience. P.S: You have to try the Gulab Jamun!
